What the heck?
I just logged out. Then logged back in 20 minutes later.
Or rather, failed to log in.
Secondlife tells me that my computer cannot access it. What's going on?
Anyone else get this? O.o

The last time that happened to me, I cleared the cache and rebooted the computer. Similar problems have also forced me to reset my router and modem.

Firewall will do that sometimes. I don't generally turn off my firewall...but every so often after it updates it will get persnickity with SL and I have to reboot or turn it off.

Ok, stupid question here - I only know how to clear cache by logging in and clearing cache, so I get the "cache will be cleared next time you log on" message. I've often wondered if it's possible to clear cache some other way if you can't log in?

From: Damien Walworth I've often wondered if it's possible to clear cache some other way if you can't log in? Or you can launch the SL application, then go to Edit > Preferences > Network. Click Clear Cache, click OK, then quit the SL client application without actually logging on. The cache will clear when you relaunch the program. No need to actually log on.
