Ghostly mini-map

Here's a weird one. I've been experimenting with builds, rezzing and deleting objects on my land. The mini-map is still showing objects I deleted a couple of weeks ago. Things I rezzed and later deleted more recently don't show up as ghosts.

I've cleared my cache, changed viewers, and my sim has been restarted recently.

Any ideas on how to exorcise my mini-map? Does it require using the freebie Blair animation?

*bump*, sorta.

I've never seen this myself. I *have* seen the mini-map display some pretty confusing footprints for megaprims, basically ignoring any dimpling, cutting, tapering, shearing, etc., that carved or offset the prim's dimensions. Don't know if those could be what you're seeing, though.

Reasonable question. Nope, no megaprims.

The ghosts are from a stream kit I was using, just some ordinary-sized prims linked together into a strip. There was a water animation, but I don't think that could do it - could it? I had some grazing horses that showed up after I deleted them, but those ghosts have faded.

The stream has left its mark for quite a while - it's been two weeks since I deleted it. I just tested deleting another scripted object - no ghost.

The only things on my land are a skybox at 480m, with various furniture. The footprint for this should be just 20x20. The cyan outline on my minimap is larger, with an irregular outline.

It's a mystery.

If it's not a ghost in the minimap, there could be lost prims belonging to you under the ground.
