A week or so back, somebody posted the average rental rate, figured as L$ per prim per week. I can't find the post again.

Can somebody provide this figure?

in a nice roleplay SIM I'm getting 2.5L per prim. as for getting a good deal or not I don't care to much since I have fun in the area, an excuse to have permanent prims in the sim is fun.

Are we talking about prices per prim for:

Vacant mainland - mountain, green, beach, open water?

Vacant private island - commercial, residential, themed?

Apartments? skyboxes? Beachhouses?

Furnished? unfurnished?

Mall spaces?

Sorry.... but there are so many variables, there is no way to answer. Try looking at comparable properties... Figure out the price based on who's charging what and how booked up they are.

If you are talking about extra prims onto land rental, you didn't mean this thread did you?

Sammy, if it helps to clarify matters, we're talking about a themed rental sim, a little like Ray's Liome. We are renting individual villas, plus a couple of apartments, and a few shop spaces. Community amenities are provided free of charge. People can rent furnished or unfurnished, at the same weekly rates, but furnishings are deducted from their prim allowance.

Does that help?

Claire, thanks, that helped a lot. Desmond, as always, had the answer.

For us, it comes to about L$2 per prim per week.

And a good job of it, too. Amazing, considering that you and Graphic have got to be pretty giddy at the moment. :D
