Ever since I logged in after down time.., I have been seeing red. Its very odd, not everything is red, as you can see in this picture of the water stream, half of the stream is red, part of the chairs are red, the bottom of the bridge is red, pieces of trees, pieces of other things
...

I DO NOT have on ctrl alt t.. as then everything around would be red. I have even cleared my cache.... and still being invaded by reddness...

Anyone else seeing red???

Isnt there a highlight scripted objects under preferences? Have you checked there?

I think Mia's right.... you might have "highlight transparent objects" on (or maybe they're scripted, dunno.) In either case, go into the View menu and see what you've got checked... and uncheck it. :)

Go to your View menu, and select Beacons. You will see an X next to everything that will show a beacon for you. It could be a sound, a script, etc. Deselect some of these and see what happens.

It's showing objects that are scripted, not transparent or updating. Updating would show up as triangles, not the shapes of prims ;)

As Cristalle saild, "view>beacons>scripted objects"

One can see this also when one is in build mode and zooming around.

My updates always look like a bunch of particles...in red and blue and such.... the OP's photos look more stationary? I don't know. :o

Yep.. It's not show updates or highlight transparent.. Show updates would be red/green/blue things floating up from objects and highlight transparent would be showing more on things like the particles & trees & staircase she has..

Is View->Beacons Always On (or something like that.. it's either alt-n or ctrl-n) set? If so, turn that off.

Have you brought anybody else over since it started? Do they see the same thing?

*chuckles* The reason I knew it wasn't updating? I've turned the stupid updating on enough by accident to remember THAT. :P Eventually things to manage to stick in the ol' brick of a brain!
