connection probs

during the last 4 days i have had severe connection problems mainly with SL, my download speeds are ok and bt router is new, 3 weeks old,

my packet loss in sl exceeded 250% my music stops every second or so and my lag meter lights are like a set of trafic lights,

i have uninstalled sl and reinstalled, cleared cache and played with graphics even on low with everything turned low or off it doesnt help,

seems its only sl thats effected can anyone help me please

What sort of internet connection do you have? Cable, DSL, etc?

Also do a search of the knowledge base. Somewhere in there is a list of ports that need to be open on your router for SL. Could be your new router is blocking something SL needs.

I imagine the new router is the problem. It probably needs to be correctly configured. I don't know what has to be done though. Lucky for me my more tech savvy sweetie did ours.
