The SL forum began in February 2003.

By Dec 2003 there had been over 50,000 posts, and the snapshot of the forum in the Internet Archive showed 21 users logged in, (13 members and 8 guests).

The 13 members at that time were:

Catherine Omega,
Charlie Bombay,
Cory Linden,
Darwin Appleby,
Drathor Kothari,
Green Fate,
Kelwyn Gallant,
LePoseur Skidoo,
Mezzanine Peregrine,
Pendari Lorentz,
ramon Kothari,
Teeny Leviathan,
Zimxur Spade

Are any of the above still around?

I dont recognize any of those names except for Cory Linden and Teeny Leviathan.

I believe that Teeny still posts from time to time. Unless I am confusing my memory with someone else with the last name of Leviathan.

one thing that may not be true anymore. But even in 2004 when I joined was true. The number of people who can have a last name was limited. Back then to 100. You used to be able to estimate when someone joined by the last name.

So anyone with those last names will be roughly the same age in world.

I joined this forum Jan 13 2004, the day I created this account.

Of this list you posted, Rock I am fairly sure the following are still active in SL if not on these forums: Catherine Omega, Darwin Appleby, Green Fate, Pendari Lorentz, and Teeny Leviathan.

As a historical sideline: Green Fate used to make excellent prim genitalia.
