Can somebody please tell me what are the employment agencies in world that are still active and not just having ads in search? I go there and im these people and they never respond. There's even cobwebs on some of their desks.

If there are employment agencies that actually work in SL, I've never heard of them.

My advice is to deciede what you want to do here, then, if you need training/help in the skills involved, hit up teh NCI (New Commers Inc) for classes and teh multiple notecard information packs at said locations.

You could also drop by the Shelter (a fun club denoted to helping new Residents and others) and ask where to get the help you need.

Even asking here. Most of us have kicked around SL long enough to steer you in somewhat of a right direction (maybe left too ^.~). What is it you want to do here?

Dude, you are a true and good friend, and I love you like the brother that my mom claims she never had, but you are in fact acting like a flaming douche on white toast with a side order of dickknob salsa..maybe you should reconsider this course of action and we go find something else to do.

I can do lots of things! That's why I like to use employment agencies and get sent to different jobs. Question is which ones are having good business?

Think you need to find a short guy who owns a dry cleaners.

I don't know if any of them are any good.

Most jobs in SL are entertainment related - and you don't need an agency to do those, there 191696316824714 clubs looking for people - just pick one that fits your comfort level for "Entertainment"

Other than that jobs are more rare - If you have skill as a builder , scripter, etc ; the perhaps an employment agency makes sense.

Assisting in rental properties also sounds like a decent gig that they could provide help on.

Of course the only entertainment agencies I know about basically try to pawn off the entertainment type jobs.
