Anyone else having pant problems?

I have been having a nightmarish time getting dressed today. I've tried 3 different outfits and each time, the pants end up looking really freakish around the feet. I have restarted, cleared cache, rebaked, changed outfits (obviously), gone to "test female" mode to remove all attachments, etc, and every time, this is what I get:

Is this a common issue today?

Oh, also, one pair of pants made my eyelashes turn solid orange.

It appears that most of my bald bases are giving me solid orange eyelashes too although I hadn't changed bases this morning when I first saw the problem. This is very frustrating and upsetting. Eyelashes are part of the skin!

DAMN Woman!!! Now you got me wondering:

Why do we buy a "pair of pants" and not just "a pant"??

Easy, because each leg = 1 pant!

And apparently it's not just me. A fashion blogger friend of mine is having the same issue.

Yes, several of my pants are acting funny down by the feet. Not all of them, though.

And I think I might look odd wearing only a skirt. I have worn skirts before, but as the bottom part of my suit jacket or tux jacket.

I did get a kilt at the most recent Live Music event. I didn't get a chance to look at it before I crashed. I might have gotten a kilt because I was wearing an Irish cap. Maybe, maybe not.

I always forget my sig. Um, the top picture shows the animal Oryx. While the bottom picture shows the person Oryx at the New Years Eve party.

Nice to know it isn't just me. Most of my pants are looking funny near the shoe, but I don't remember if it started with the latest server restarts or one of the client releases. Good thing I spend most of my time in skirts.

Might not be related, but I can't change socks tonight. Or even take them off. At least in Sl, no-one can smell your feet! Rebake, edit appearance, TPs, shaking voodoo chickens over the monitor or any of the usual tricks haven't helped. I'm having trouble with purchases too... general bad performance tonight.

Pants is what you call a plurale tantum (sorry for the linguist-ese!) like scissors or glasses...because you're talking about something consisting of a pair of whatever.

When I read the thread title, though, I first thought it was a more....adult topic...*pant*

I say we just ban pants and be done with it.

Then again, based on the club down the road, I think some people have already started that trend....

So I guess that makes the Scissor Sisters multiple plural tanta.

Nope. "Sisters" is a standard pluralization.

All of my trousers/pants seem to be working fine! no problems. not sure how it could turn eyelashes orange though. i wouldn't mind orange eyelashes though :D

THAT would be the ScissorS Sisters!

*starts singing "I can't decide...."*

And for the nitpickers: the plural of plurale tantum is pluralia tantum. Just the plurale gets....pluralised....or pluralized, if you're American... :D

*explodes in a black cloud of letters*

The problem with men's pants on the bottom of the leg isn't new nor did it begin with the last restart, patch or anything else. This has been going on for over a year now. While it doesn't happen each and everytime, it does happen and has been happening for the longest already.

Best thing to do is to take them off and put them on a few times but then this is the way you should always do all clothes when you first put them on. And use appearance, it helps doing this.

I'll try that if it happens again. Haven't seen it yet today and I've changed several times.

That's easy to fix-just go into appearance mode and out of it again, you don't have to do anything. It will go back to flared. I call it "leggings alert" ;)

I've had that problem with one particular pair of pants that I have. But it doesn't happen all of the time. I saw somebody else with the same problem ... maybe I should have asked if they were the same pants!
