Smoke gets in my eyes

My neighbour has a particle emitting gizmo that generates clouds over my land.

They're quite high up, so never too much of a problem. But I just don't want them. We've got enoguh greyness here in the UK in RL.

I've talked to my neighbour a few months ago and since then submitted 3 abuse reports. But I still get the clouds.

Can I just assume that submitting abuse reports and expect LL to act is... a lost cause?

Talked to the person, three abuse reports, no action? I'm leaning toward "lost cause".

I forgot what setting it is maybe some could direct you to short cut to turn off particles and there is also a fog setting.
The clouds or fog might be because of where you are building at.
But turning off particles you have to keep doing I did it once I just forgot how again.

yeah--particles are a very personal thing. they live on the client side and you have controls for viewing them. he might not be seeing the same thing you are seeing.

Is this private estate land? I'd call the land manager and ask them to do something.

Since they are particle based, I believe typing Ctrl Alt Shift = will disable ALL particle views on your end until your next relog. Use the same command to turn them back on. You can use this command until you are able to get a hold of your neighbor and work something out civilly if possible.
