Slx stops making deliveries a lot when SL is down..after all there is no point making deliveries if no one is home to accept them

From: Tiana Whitfield Slx stops making deliveries a lot when SL is down..after all there is no point making deliveries if no one is home to accept them Which saves us time and annoyance. A lot of time a much annoyance. Doesn't help that I was changing out to the new boxes when this happened, however But that is hardly SLX's fault!

You should be using the new new box. (This is, I admit, the sort of thing that would normally be a joke from me, but in this instance, it honestly is not; there were three emails.)

why dont they just let you rip the script out of the new new new new box and stick it in the old old old box and delete the old old old script instead of all this copying and farting around. Its easier and less time consuming plus if they release a new new new new new new new box you can just rip the script outa that one. All they need to do is make it no modify and you can use the new new new new new new new script in all your old old old old old old boxes.
or would that be too easy?

o.o I'm still using the old box.. and have no problems with deliveries, etc. Didn't accept the new box, or the new new box.. or the new new new ...o.O...
It don't think it's mandatory to use the new boxes, it's just a recommendation. And for deliveries, don't you have to be signed onto SL anyway to accept it? So the delivery part if SL is having problems makes no sense ...or I am missing something? (which is more then likely the case)

From: Wilhelm Neumann or would that be too easy? They specifically explained on the slx forum that you could do that. Personally I find it easier to just place a new box because all of the items are in a folder in my inventory anyway.

Well, upgrading takes five minutes. We just managed to squeeze that in before the logon problems kicked us off.

So the delivery part if SL is having problems makes no sense ...or I am missing something? (which is more then likely the case) I order from SLexchange a lot when I'm not inworld, and won't be for hours. I haven't had any problems with delivery, and always get my items when I log in later that day. The only times i have problems is when SLexchange can't communicate with SL for some reason. But, I will receive a message that they will keep trying to deliver for 2 hours, and then if they still can't communicate with SL, I get an e-mail stating that delivery failed. I've never had money deducted from my SLexchange account when they failed to make delivery.
