Just wanted to make sure i'm clear on something w/ in XSTREET marketplace.
If i'm searching items based on their popularity, are the Featured Items excluded from this "popularity" factor. I assume they are always going to be first since they're featured.

Ive always wanted to know that too...xstreet is so confusing, I swear...I dont even know where to post new item releases on the forums now..its all a bunch of shite.

You can't post it anywhere- u can post it here- but what the hell good will that do? I am still posting my new releases here for as long as this moribund place hangs on - I post my new stuff to SLU and now to SecondCitizen as well - I stopped buying adverts on XStreet too cause the new set up is so effed

I don't know for sure, the pattern that I have observed it that is an item is feature it will goto the top of the page that it will appear on anyways.
For example all things being near equal, if you sort by popularity, the page shows 10 items by default, if 9 of those items where not featured, the one that is featured will be the first item and the rest would be in popularity rating.

I keep wishing the old OnRes crew would come back in some form.  Galen, No, the Featured items will always be tops. If you look at any given page, the top 9 items are featured and the last one is not (depending on how you have your page set up) Change sort to popularity and it is like you have two lists, one is the Featured item list, the other is the no extortion payment on file list. The top 9 items will be the top of the featured list and the bottom one will be the non-featured list. This is just from my perception so I may be off. |

Yummy, when you list an item on Xstreet it gets added to the feed automatically.

And at the 24 hour average over one per minute rate of new product additions to xstreet it will remain visible in the feed for less than one minute so you better be watching if you want to see it zip by. |
