Linking second account

Hi, all,

I created a second ID and have read here about having multiple accounts linked together, but I can't find how to do it anywhere. If I have two linked IDs can they swap Lindens? Objects?

Also, I'm having a problem with my new account. I TP'd off Orientation Island and now I can't get rid of the "Welcome Second Life Orientation Click the flashing arrow to continue" window. I've tried going back to the island, quitting and restarting, clicking the arrow. Nothing works. Suggestions?

Hi Sharna, welcome to the forums!

Consider your two avatars to be completely separate people. They have separate US$ accounts and separate L$ accounts, and no, you can't link them up. They CAN pay each other though, so you can swap L$ back and forth. The only items that you can swap are transferable ones.

i don't know how to link accounts, but to remove that annoying window thingy, right click it and click "Detach" and it will vanish, never to be seen again

Oh, and you're talking about the HUD for Orientation Island, right? Right click on it and choose "detach" or find it in your inventory and choose "take off item."
