Shabby-chic Furniture?

Posted this on "wanted" thread. No nibbles so maybe here is better... :o

I'm looking for furniture that fits the 'shabby chic' or 'country' description.

Would like a daybed in particular, and other items that would fit nicely in a country cottage. Painted or worn wood textures, etc. Found some nice items at Del Sol, but does anyone have any other suggestions?

Thanks!

Sol

I don't have a clue. Furniture makers I smell a niche market.

Try Xylo, they might have the style you are looking for.

may I suggest my partner's shop (Fatima Ur) ... Antique Artistry. Drop by Fatimas Love - that's where her main store is. She specialises in shabby chic creations

Hi hi,

I did drop by her lovely store. Very nice items, but not quite it. They were more beautiful antique and 'period'. I am looking for beat up stuff. lol

Thanks though :)

I just saw some cool furniture in the SL flickr stream the other day....it looked very much like what you're describing....I'll see if I can locate it again and get back to ya with the name.... It was a new designer me thinks.

The set was called Viell.....from a new store...Cubik Circle.... try that~!! It looked like a sort of white washed rustic livingroom set with that worn shabby look.... I remember thinking it reminded me of the shabby chic style.
