Will they run SL ok, got chance of a Sony 15.4" Laptop Intel Core 2 Duo 1.83 GHz
Ram 3 Gb, 200 GB HD Nvidia 8400M-GT graphics.
Model I was given is VG-NR322, can't Google that but VGN-NR32S/S might well be it.
Anyone had experience of this or similar, any advise welcomed.

Should be OK, but not mind-boggling. I went with an ASUS G-50-VT laptop. More memory, faster processor, a bit larger screen, and much better graphics card...all for a lower price. You pay almost as high a premium for the Sony name as for the Apple name.
