I don't log on much but enjoy my few chances to spend some time in SL, usually. A few weeks ago, I had a strange thing happen...I was in one of the jazz clubs and was approached by someone in whom I had no interest to dance or to talk. I politely ended our brief conversation and noticed some beautiful hair on a female av, asked for info on it and then tp'd to the store. I found 2 demos that I liked and purchased them for L$1 each.

A few moments later, the individual I had politely rejected at the jazz club, paid me one L$1 and then another! It was as though he knew my transactions. He is not affilliated with the store. He was nowhere around, my radar didn't show him, nor did he seem to be anywhere in the sim.

I had never accepted any objects from him and had not added any new scripted objects to my av. How could this have happened? Are there tools that spy on more than just your location?

Any help or insight would be appreciated.

anybody can pay you anywhere, they just pull your profile up and pay you. he probley was not tracking you or anything, just being nice and giving you some L. I do it from time to time.

Perhaps the rejectee, the coiffure girl, and the store owner are all the same person.
