For the past week or so I am virtually unable to TP anywhere in SL. Regardless of time of day or if rolling restarts are happening. Others can TP in and out of my sim..and my alt can TP with no problem, just my main av that can't. I've done the obvious like clear cache, updated the server....anyone have any other suggestions?

If you are sporting more than 800-900 prims your TP failures increase exponentially, at around 1500 prims it is fail after fail before success.

OMG! People wear that many prims?

Aren't I the simple one.

I know one forum member had a problem with this, and it was her hair that was the problem. Changing to a lower prim hair meant she could TP again.

You'd be surprised how easily it mounts up. I just calculated all my prim attachments and the total is 581. As well as non-prim clothes, I'm wearing in my current punky outfit:

Barbed wire wrist and hand decoration = 37 and 21
Arm and wrist brace = 58 and 43
Belt = 20
Boots = 180 (90 each)
Hair = 137
Collar = 20
Earring = 28

I could easily see where a female avi wearing the 'floufy' hair I see so many ladies sporting, a high-prim dress, boots/shoes and jewellery would soon be edging into the number of prims mentioned above, where TP issues begin to happen.

Yep, me...and it really was that simple. I now have a very low prim hair that I wear when I'm tping around. If I want to wear a different hair, I just change when I get there.

Occasionally, I'll be wearing the low prim hair and have problems - so I remove my watch, which has more prims than I care to publicly admit :X
