I now suddenly find myself also in dire need of making a new group. However I cannot use my Clubs name as the old (and likely soon to be deleted) Club's group is using it.. Can group names be changed? Like if I were to name it Utopiex, could it later be changed to Club Utopiex?

Group names can not be changed once created. Choose your name wisely before clicking the submit button

The actual group names can't be changed. You can change the group tags that appear above your head though.

in very rare situations group names can and will be changed, but not because you want them changed, because SL deems it necessary, I know this because I had a group name get changed by a linden
