Greets SL'rs
Been wandering aimlessly round the world for a couple of years and a few things i find difficult and wud love some tips on:
How to stop an animation. Often when you get a free say, dance, it starts automatically - how do you stop it?
Sometimes when you apply a piece of clothing it appears as a box - why is that?

about the box, you gotta rez it on the ground and COPY the contents into your inventory. then take the box. we don't want to encourage littering.  you can find the animation and stop it, or go into your client menu and STOP ALL ANIMATIONS......in the WORLD tab i believe. please someone correct me if i'm in the wrong tab. i'm not inworld to verify any of my advice here, so i apologize if i'm way off. just didn't want you to go unanswered.

Hi PJ, sometimes designers package all of the pieces of one outfit into a box, rather than sending them to you as a folder. It's just a different way of doing things. And like 3Ring said, you can rez the box on the ground and copy all items to your inventory, and then wear them.  |

It's in the Tools tab, just checked for you But that is the best thing LL ever put into the client. We used to have to log off to get an animation to stop...

In the spirit of dear departed Trent, let me say that the clothes sometimes crawl into a box just to hide themselves from you. You have to eat the box to get them out. And, there is no way to get rid of the animations unless you send me 5,000L$. Just the act of sending the cash will magically make them stop. Do it every time you go dancing. Might be easier to do if you take me with you Happy Friday! |

rez = drag it from your inventory to the ground. make it part of the game, and not jsut a word in your inventory list.
