Hi all

I have installed the latest SL viewer which includes Windlight (1.23.5.136262) found when clicking through from the "Tip of the Week #12: How to easily boost viewer performance" feature.

I want to check the Avatar impostors but after checking the Custom checkbox the Avatar Impostors checkbox still greyed out therefore I cannot check or uncheck it.

Anyone else experienced this? Have I missed something. I am able to increase or decrease the Draw Distance and some other things but a lot of the checkboxes are not enabled.

Mmm... a search of the wiki reveals little other than that they were disabled ages ago for certain hardware configurations on Macs , because they kept on crashing these particular them, while LL looked for a fix. See http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Release_Notes/Second_Life_Release_Candidate/1.21. Could that be anything to do with it? They are certainly working for me.

Additionally, if your graphics do not support certain things, they will stay grayed out.

Thanks everyone. It is probably that my PC is not of a sufficient spec.
