So I bought 5k worth of L$ on xstreet I believe where it asks for a credit card or pay pal. Well I dont have paypal so I used my card. My card says the transaction has happened but on the status of SLL fund holds it says its pending a paypal transaction approval.
Is this normal and I just have to wait or Im I screwed because I dont have a paypal?

Give it some time, like 12 hours, if nothing's happened you may need to contact billing by phone.

It is a way to make transactions secure without having to do all the extra work on Linden Lab servers. Paypal does all the work for them. So what happens is you send money to Paypal and they send money to LL. Since this is the first time the card is used as far as Paypal is concerned, they hold the transaction until they can verify that the money has indeed been transferred from the credit card to their account. This can be minutes, hours or even a full day. This only happens the first time a card is used. After that, the transfer is virtually instant because that card's account has been proven to be trustworthy. |

Rhonda, my credit card payments do not go through paypal, I am 99.9% sure of this, I don't have any connection with paypal at all. My payments are made direct through my bank.

It does on xstreet. It is not tied back into the LL account yet you you still have to go through the old xstreet process. Let me double check real quick. [ETA] Yeppers, you only get the choices of Paypal mass pay or standard credit card through Paypal  |
