Eyes go BLACK!!??

This has happened twice in the last two weeks.

The only difference is that I recently bought a new skin and shape from Redgrave.

My eyes go completely BLACK!!! When I wear another set, they look perfect, but if I try and re-ware the set that turned black, they continue to appear that way.

As a side note, my friend have me a set of eyes to wear after the first occurrence. Last night, those eyes also turned black for no reason. When she gave me the set again they were also black even though I never wore this new set. It seems that once a set goes bad, even if you replace them with the exact same ones they also cannot be worn and keep the same condition!

What is going on??????

Seems like a texture glitch. Clear your cache, relog and then rebake - hit ctrl+alt+r at the same time. With a bit of luck, that'll clear it up.

I had this happen with a pair of freebie eyes that I wore for months before they went black -- and I had not changed shape or skin at the time. I could wear other eyes, but that pair was black every time I put them on after that. Someone told me that it meant the object definition on the server had lost association with the correct texture - no clue if they were right or wrong. Even though they were freebies, I like them, so I simply went back to the freebie places and got a new pair and they worked fine.
