Cant edit in my own land

I'm trying to edit objects in my land i have my group tag correcty set but when i edit an object to change its group all i get is the word Loading... by the Group setting can anyone help me please.

Sounds like a problem pulling the available groups from the database. Possibly lag/network probs.. dunno.

so do you think this problem will clear by itself or am i screwd untill i find a fix for it.

Have you tried:

--- Clearing cache and relogging
--- Setting the group not by choosing it, but by wearing the tag yourself of the group you want to set to, and then just immediately picking "Set"? That will set it to the same tag you are wearing, whatever it is.

Yes ive tried all of thoes things cleared the cache a few times asewll just to try but no joy

Well, it sounds to me that its a connectivity issue when you try and pull info from the database and get the loading placeholder. Seems mostly on LL's end if you have no other abnormal lag issues while in SL. Things have been slow to fill in for me also, so I tend to think it might just clear up when whatever's dogging the database eases up. If not you could try it in a sim hosted at the other colocation, depends where you're at.
