I have a question about graphics cards...My graphics card isn't that new, but should still be working better than this. I had a new one installed around June 2008. It's a GeForce 8400 GS, and has been fine untill recently. It's been giving me some problems, SL glitchy, and I have gotten the blue screen a few times ( in the past 6 months). I have been left to run on low setting on graphics, with it flickering still time to time. When I'm not in SL, everything is fine and not glitchy. I know I should get it into a shop soon, but until I do, is there anything I can do to better it's perfomance for the time being? Like turning up the screen refresh rate or anisotropic filtering? Or would that make it die even faster?
Any help or suggestions would be muchly appreciated!
