Just out of curiousity...a lot of RL companies have come and gone, but Scion at least did a great job as far as laying down a huge, well-designed, city for visitors to rez and drive around in, complete with a theatre...

I like the Machinima comin' outta there too...but traffic out there has dropped down to a pretty sad degree...and the only people I see on a regular basis, is this crew of kids, calling themselves The Byrd Gang... same old story there of course

...the harmless kids aside though, YaDNi MoNde was a big part of promoting and builing Scion City...so were some other cool folks... does anybody here on the Forums have the "down low" on what happened to Scion City?

I sent IMs to a few people from MOU who used to be coordinators for it, & I'm waitin' to hear back... but out of everybody here, I figured maybe somebody was "in the know", and could give me a faster answer?

Scion's in other virtual worlds. Scion is in Whyville, Gaia and There, in addition to SL. Perhaps these other virtual worlds have captured the attention of the Scion marketing division charged with exploring the use of virtual worlds to market cars.

True...maybe they just left Scion City where it is for now, and they'll come back to this project later, or somethin' *shrugs*

Gaia, LOL...my grrl likes that!

I think all they need is a better way to drive a steady stream of traffic through it, at a real cheap price, easily done, which is why I don't understand how empty it is

They're little Tardises! On the outside they look tiny, but you step inside and there's a whole apartment in there. (The Xb at least)

Maybe they will come back when the cars they are trying to sell can cross a postcode boundry without crashing through the ground?
