Easy Land Question, I think

A friend of mine owns a piece of land and I have moved onto it and am paying him the tier fees monthy.
He will continue to own the land but wants to give me all rights, including landscaping, audio/video controls (being able to use a radio or television), etc Basically all the rights of an owner except being able to sell the land.
Having land is new to both of us so........what do we do?

He makes a group, you both join along with one of his alts, deed the land to the group, He makes you an role in the group that has all the land powers he wants to give you.

Having land is new to both of us so........what do we do? Create a group, deed that land to the group, and make you a group member with all those rights except being able to sell the land. Just as I did with some folks purchasing some land from me over time. |

One thing to remember with the group thing, he needs to make sure he removes the "Accounting" ability from you in the group. Otherwise if he sells the land, you would get half the price.

From: Stormy Weeks why would one of his alts have to join? It's just a precautionary backup. If there's only one person left in a group, the group goes poof and so does all its land. |

He'll need to give you rights to deed objects to the group too for the audio and video stuff.

Once he deeds it to the group what about when its time to completely take back the land? Will it be possible for him to become the sole owner again in an easy manner?

Fairly simple, but he has to be careful. All he has to do is set it for sell to himself. He just has to make sure he uses the "for sale to XXXX AV" and not "for sale to anyone". Otherwise he will lose it to a landbot.
