Alright i'm assuming i'll still have it all when I install it again but recently I lost everything on my computer and had to format it (Didn't have to much to lose.. I hope) so I was just wondering since I have to format do I lose any of my stuff at all? Such as Gestures, animations, clothing, ect

I know I'll still have my money but I just got my avi awesome looking so I'm wondering

All your stuff in your inventory is stored on servers, so it'll all be there for you on your new computer.

You'll lose any chat logs you had, and if you changed any settings like graphics preferences, you'll have to do them over, but your stuff isn't a problem.

A good format and starting over is good once in a while. Cleans all the junk files that slow your computer down......gets rid of any spyware that your scanner missed, gets rid of all those orphaned registry tid bits that cause those mysterious crashes. Clears up a whole mess of things.

But having to do that without planning ahead can be a real pain. All those little tweaks of your settings, desktop, helpful background programs have to be found, installed, tweaked again, set up.............and, if you are like me, you don't know how you did it, where you found it, and can't eventhink of what it was that you liked about it

. But, you'll get it all back......and in a few weeks you'll be better off than before.

Just make sure you get all the updates, configure your hardware, turn off or on any feature you had on or off before. Then, and only then, get and install SL........don't rush it. If you don't have the proper driver for your graphics card and other components you are likely to have trouble with SL when before you did not........and that leads to tweaking and changing things that only aggrivate your problems. In other words you run in circles chasing ghosts..........and get frustrated.

Oh, and yes, all your SL stuff will still be there for you.........you'll even be in the same skin and outfit you were wearing the last time you were in SL.

And you are correct I'm honestly glad it kinda happen because now I can start fresh and I am doing all of that stuff first as well, takes ages to do.. but hell it'll be worth it in the end.

And that's awesome! I'm happy that all my modifications will still be there when I return
