Please help!! My avi is naked. I keep putting on clothes and I see them, but all of my friends tell me I'm naked. This happened once before, and I can't remember how I fixed it.
If you know, please help me. It's embarrassing.

Yesterday I went into appearance mode, and even though I took nothing off and on my screen I had on a dress, stockings, shoes and undies as well as of course my hair and shoes, everyone there began shrieking. "Shut the door! Oh I hope no one sees your bare..." and "Is this our new stage show?" To me I looked normal but to all of them I was naked except for my prims - shoes, sleeves and hair! If I were newer I'd have been mortified, but I chalked it up to SL weirdness. I also didn't go into appearance mode again. (PS ask them to take a pic and send it to you so you are sure it is not a prank on their part.) Meanwhile maybe wear a skin that has a bikini painted on it. There are a few of those around. _____________________

put on some prims. if you have to, create a cylinder and wear it like a barrell.

Since they all reacted at once and hadn't known I was about to go into appearance mode, I believed them. For the OP since it's happened over a few days, and we don't know how well she knows her friends or if they are pranksters if I were her I would ask them for a pic. _____________________

Yes. Clothes (shirts, pants) are not rezzing at times. Rebake, appearance mode or TPing to a less laggy sim did NOT help. Logging off and back on did.

I think it's a bug which is showing up on some machines, and not on others. I'm seeing it on my laptop in Snowglobe, but not on my ancient Nicklaus client (1.19.x based). I don't see it on my desktop with the Nvidia 8800GT.
