Hello. I was hoping someone might know the answer to this question since I'm having a hard time researching it. Is there a viewer that doesn't connect to Second Life but allows you to upload textures to test without the internet? Rather than waste 10 linden on dud outfit pieces, I'd like to test run them on a viewer like this without the upload fee since this wouldn't connect to the grid. Please let me know.

You should be able to connect to the test grid - someone will be along shortly to explain that.

There is the SLCP that is a standalone clothing previewer, but it works with the standard mesh and shows some stuff differently from the final version.
The better way - if you are old enough so the last snapshot LL took has your avatar in the database - is to connect to the beta grid. You do pay 10L there, but the beta money is separate from your main account and wont be deducted.
