New start but cant

hiya evry1

need a lil help. trying to make a new av as i want to start again after some bad drama lastnite but i cant. i put mi first name in and go to pick a new second name but it comes up with

"Sorry, all the last names are taken. Please try a different first name"

yet i put in any new first name and i keeps comin up with the sorry message over and over again.

does anyone know why?

You're not picking an original enough first name. Or, just possibly, registrations are broken. Close the window and open it again.

Maybe hold off anyway before completely changing your avatar. I have done numerous embarrassing things I regret the next morning but good old Jig just keeps ticking. Being embarrassed is just part of being on sl. No one really minds.

I second this. Don't ditch "Kelly Sohl" just because of one night's drama. Move forward with life and forget last night.

You are creating a life in SL...It will reflect all kinds of things about you, some accurate, some not so much and you will get to meet lots of other people besides those involved in that drama. Just keep on living, you cannot run every time you have a problem or some bad drama.

I must confess there has been few times I wanted to kill off FD Spark
but then I lose all the endless hours and uploads so I decided against it.
Great thing about drama is if you don't want to participate in it, it does
eventually go away or their is always new drama to come regardless
of who or where you are.
You got great name Kelly if you want to take break from it that is cool.
I suggest a idea someone gave me few weeks ago before selecting a name you use the people search in world first to see if the name is picked before creating it though.
Also sometimes you stumble upon some very funny interesting nicknames and
some are hilarious and it may make you laugh and distract you for a bit.

Ok, my pc is formatting I need to kill time, tell me the drama story. What happend?
OMG please there is never enough drama on SL, everyone is whining about no drama.. I want drama dammit~ (not my own of course) but I like to hear other peoples drama.

Worse type of drama I have experienced usually has lot to do with myself,
what I am telling myself about the situation and often its just incredibly
embarrassing series of emotions, too embarrassing to repeat.
Few dramas personally that I can repeat was during low periods where I wasn't
feeling well, grumpy, impatient and I had certain close friendships that I grown
attached to and then others moved in became really major demands on their
attentions, affections and generally disrespectful and I sort snapped because I had
it or felt under appreciated.
Or having close SL family friends make decissions about things with other people
that effects me, like having to share space with people I don't like how they treat me because they are friends of friend I share land with and not feeling like I could say or do anything about it.
One time I was upset I accidentally hit wrong button because I wanted to just return every
object of my own and disappear and I end up returning every other object in group too that
wasn't mine.
And what made it worse is being teased about it afterwards for weeks when I felt
really bad about it and no longer being trusted with certain group rights any more.

/me eats popcorn and remembers her own bout with ops oh crap wrong button...lost a house and a good pool table that way (actualy playable pool table not one of those sex ones)

Also I recall being in a popular spot sitting listening to a DJ and overhearing a conversation between a gal and a guy and let me tell you the dirt dished was immense... what I found exceptionally funny about the whole things was.... everywhere I looked there were big no drama signs lol.. maybe gossip and drama are not the same though?

Absolutely nothing wrong with 'Kelly Sohl'..I'd stick with that one for sure whatever happened..last night can't be that bad.

There was a gay sex club I use to go too and they had no drama rules
but it was okay to gossip providing you did it in im's.
Any group of friends there going to be some type of drama going on,
some are good at stirring up, it doesn't mean always that much it just how
people say things.
One friend one time I was complaining about some type of drama, he
responded with "Oh, that's just life"
There always going to be some type of emotions be it unpleasant, intense
or some type of soap opera type of drama when ever you get any human
being around anything emotional unless you totally stop feeling, dying, loving,
thinking or interacting with desires of your own and others.
There has been numerous time I have situations I felt so emotional even
within the situations mentioned above I thought of canceling FD's account but I end up
just letting go and focusing on something else, it did get better.

me and mi freind had restart a couple of months go. mi freind started becuase of a rl freind tatty bein greedy with comp winnings makin a big fuss over nothing. now both me and mi freind didnt tell tatty about us starting again and i restarted because i thought it would do me gd to get away from drama regardin mi old club i worked at. mi freind stayed freinds with couple of ppl other and so did i but these ppl do now one another.....right

one of mi freind m8s sab bailey(yes i want u know his name). sab confessed 2 me that he liked are mi freind. so i had a chat with him trying 2 make him see that she was with someone and sab has known mi feind long then me there for has personly meet mi freinds sl b/f. sab l8r in the day said somethign that jupset me cant remember what i was now but it upset me. so i loged off well mi freind asked sab why i left with out saying anyting and l8r in the nite i loged bk in only to find out sab had told mi freind he liked her after all this time but mi freind turned him down becuase she was with someone already. he started being funny with us both acting weired quiet havin a dig at mi freinds sl b/f. then mi freind brings one of her rl freinds in 2 sl angels wirefly(yes again i want u 2 know her name).

couple of days go on after meeting angels only 2 find out she liked sab but he dint like her. after me and mi freind found out we though nothing of it. sab couple of days l8r tell angels he liked mi freind but was happy being freinds with angels. so again time goes on and we all got 2 the club i worked at. sab starts trying 2 flrt with mi freind she knocks him bk and with in mins of her knocking him bk sab started flriting with me and angels...me not bein beucse im not on sl for that sort of thing, so i tell mi freind. she gets a lil angry then angels tells mi freind sabs been flirting with her as well.

so we think hes just asfter some not bothered who it is so we desided 2 remove him from are freinds list as we dint feel we could trust sab no more.

couple of days go by and we find out sab was bk with is ex sl wife. so angels IM's sab after me and mi freind tellin her not 2 just to let it go. sab then understandably gets upset and it starts off. fond out angels mi freind and mi freinds other rl freind tatty know one another angels hates tatty in rl. so what does angels go and do. goes to tattys best sl m8s club and start mouthin off at tatty callin her a dragon etc. now both me and mi freind know tatty is no saint herslef but the fact of the matter is we had nothing to do with angels and tattys arguments. sab bein tatty sl dad(mad i kow) IM's mi freind sayin it wa out of line which it was but then becuase mi freind knocked sab bk all those weeks ago thought it would be very manly and funny 2 tell tatty who we all were. so tatty kicks off with mi freind and we all get realy upset as we asked sab weeks ago not 2 say anything 2 tatty and he said he wouldnt. so tatty found out who we were. angels coursed the drama by openin her mouth ans sabmakin it worse by tell evry one who we were.

so we thought we would start again for the 2nd time. but we have now desided just to mute the ppl resposable and carry on.

Yes, yes.. muting does make all the bad people go away. Or at least make it so you don't hear them any more.

As for being a drama magnet? I don't know about you, but I'd start looking for the source and mute it as well.

Kelly, you have a whole keyboard in front of you, and more than 150 characters in which to get your message across. No offence, but textspeak is REALLY hard to read in large blocks like that. There are also more than a few people reading these forums that don't have English as a first language, and while us Brits get that 'm8' is 'mate' and 'l8r' is 'later', others might not understand that.

Also, even though I skimmed your post, I noticed you named two people in SL, and stated that you wanted us to know their names. 'Naming names' is not permitted on the SL forums, so you might want to edit those out.
