Try clearing your cache (Preferences >> Network, I think); I doubt the information is held server-side so it's probably the SL viewer foolishly leaving them in the list.

Most of the time when this happens, it's because there are landmarks in folders other than the actual Landmark folder. If you go to File>Show Filters in Inventory, click the 'None' button, then check the Landmarks box, it will show you all landmarks everywhere in your inventory. Delete anything which isn't in your Landmarks folder and all of the extras should disappear from your map.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

Yep, it is tedious but especially if you are a power shopper, necessary. Most sellers include a landmark in the folders with the items, so if you frequent the same establishments over and over, you will get the overload.

Sorting by filters as suggested helps, as does sorting by name. Just going through your folders and deleting unwanted LMs and notecards which just say "thank you for buying me" helps. Personally unless there's instuctions I wish places wouldn't put notecards or landmarks in esp as they often become obsolete anyway.

Cleaning your inventory is boring but satisfying. Sooner rather than later too, I have stuff i have never opened in mine! I know I have I just don't know what it is, where it is, what it is called - LOL.

I have a sweet little pink bikini my partner gave me, I loved it and would love to wear it for him, but neither of us can remember what it is called. I'll find it before 2010 I hope.

It's the "File" menu in the inventory box itself, not the "File" menu in SL - does that help?
