At least since 3/23/09 there has been a Flintstone-mobile on fire on the Venice Beach street. This is right where you land when you teleport into Venice Beach. I don't know if you can be hurt by it or not, but it is very annoying. There's a flying laser warning people away.

Getting hurt is just a measurement on a meter, provided the land is even set up to measure it. If you ARE "killed", all that happens is that you are sent home. Welcome to SL, land of the demigods.

That's what you get on build-enabled land without autoreturn. The place is a garbage heap!  Luckily, the only thing that could get hurt there is your sense of taste seeing all the prim crap lying around. There are only two individuals with the authority to return non-group objects. One of these needs to get rid of all the stuff sitting around there. |

If yes, it's a damage-enabled sim, and your av can possibly be hurt or 'killed' (as someone said, you just get teleported to your home location, and sent a creepy IM). If no, then you can jump off a skyscraper, stand in a fire pit, be shot 1,000 times and keep on going. Your av is invincible there.  (Suuuper Futuro!) |
