Last night I went to the Welcome Center (a place for Newbie's) before I logged off. When I got there it was horrible. There were crates all over the place and these images of a woman's vagina just flying through the air.
This is not the first time that something like this has happened. Once before I had gone to this same spot and someone else had stuff flying through the air. This time it was images of The Joker and stuff.
What this does is it will force you to be logged off and when the images hit you it makes your Avatar move. People say to sit down when this is happening so that you will not be logged off.
My question is this. I tried to file a complaint form but, when I went to put the resident's name down that was doing this it went into my list of contacts so naturally this person was not listed. My report could not go through because I did not have them in my list of contacts.
This person's name was BatShitter Gothly and you could see him hovering above us and I also saw his name on the material that was flying around at us.
How do you report abuse when they are not in your contacts?
Thanks

Even though your contacts list show up, you don't have to choose from the list, you just type in the name, hit find, and it will be listed below if you typed it correctly. It's the same system as when adding people to groups as far as I can tell.

When you click the 'Choose Resident' button, it pops up another window. Fill in at least three letters of the offenders name on the top bar, then click 'Find.' Highlight the name you want, click 'Select' at the bottom, and their name will populate the form. Looks like someone did manage to AR your friend though...he's not in the list.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

I did that the first time I ARed a resident for caging me in a sandbox. I wish the friends list wouldn't be the first thing to pop up.

I thank you for your help and yes...several people said they were reporting him. I just wanted to know for future references. What gets me is that this person was hovering over us and watching with a big cross attached to him. There are some really strange and weird souls at SL. Never a dull moment thanks guys and gals

If the name of the person does not show up in the box then just put a linden name into it and the offenders name with a log in the main box for info. It was in one of torley's videos

This is kind of after the fact but I recommend you never go to any Welcome Area unless you are a big fan of griefing. They have become the cesspools of Second Life.
