HUD placement problems

I have a friend who is experiencing some odd HUD problems when it comes to placement on-screen. Currently the only HUDs she runs are ZHAO 2, Expressions and a HUD for her scripted roller skates.

The Expressions HUD always appears partially off-screen; most of it is out of view. Even with no other HUDs loaded, it does this.

I have all three HUDs myself, and have no display placement problems at all. We both run at the same resolution - 1024x768.

We can't figure this out. Can someone clue me into some settings that we may have overlooked somewhere?

Has she tried using the Edit window to move it into place? It should stay put after that.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

Dumb question #1: I have never used this Edit window, and cannot seem to figure out how to access it. (Knowledge Base wasn't much help.)

Thanks ...

Right-click on the HUD, and in the Pie menu that displays, choose Edit.

There will be arrows that display on the HUD, allowing you to drag it to a new location. When you are done moving it, close the Edit window that displays onscreen to leave Edit mode.

Right-click on the HUD and choose Edit. There are a bunch of options, but you'll want the first radio button in this case, which it should default to. It'll give you directional arrows which you use by left-clicking on the ends and dragging in the direction you want the item to go. You can do this with any prim item you're wearing or have rezzed in-world as well.

Even if you're not a builder, it's a really good idea to get familiar with the Edit functions...I build absolutely nothing and I usually end up using it at least a few times in any session.

Oh ... the EDIT window. *bangs head on desk*

That seems to have done it. Thank you so much. :)
