Exporting Notecards

I'm pretty new to SL. Someone's given me a notecard with information on it that I would like to copy to a text document on my computer. Copy and paste don't seem to work.

Is there any way of doing this?

My computer is an Intel-based Mac, running OS 10.4.11 and the latest SL software.

Have you tried Ctrl-C for Copy and Ctrl-V for Paste?

Highlight the text and then use ctrl+c or whatever the keyboard command a Mac uses to copy the text.
