Since I first started SL, version 1.18.3.5 and earlier versions were the only releases that I was able to connect with. And now with the mandatory release I get the error message: Despite our best efforts, something unexpected has gone wrong.... Anyone else have this problem or advice on how to get through it?

You can try Nicholaz Beresford's viewer, I just started using it. You will need the old 1.18.5.3 viewer too though, they kinda go together. If you need the installation file for that one, I still have it and can email it to you, either drop me a private message through the forum (by clicking on my name) or send me a notecard inworld with your email address.
