Go into the properties of your shortcut and at the end of the target that is in quotes add this:

-set SystemLanguage en-us -multiple

Actually, you will have part of that already, you will more than likely just need to put in a space and -multiple at the end.

other useful command line parameters located at the link below...

I suggest
-noprobe -user First Last Password
and adding a hotkey for speedy relogs from crashes, and disabling or automating crash reports (ask is bad)

Just out of curiosity; I've never tried it, but could someone conceivably run the same avatar out of two windows?

I've never tried it either, but I think it would just give you the you are currently being logged out message and boot ya on the other window.

I've never ran multiples before so my question might seem rather silly. But how do you switch between avis? Run the two clients in separate windows and click on the window you want to activate?

Just curious...........thanks.

Yep, I always run SL in window mode so I can browse the net n such in quiet moments or while in PSP. Easy to click on them on the task bar. :)

I have ran 4 instances of SL at the same time in a couple of occasions for testing stuff in-world. Slow but feasible is you have enough ram.
