I am looking at getting rid of some of my unused clothing (not freebies!!) and am debating whether to have a yard sale or contact a RELIABLE reseller.
My question... which is a good decision?
Where would I find good land for a yard sale? I've looked at several "free" yard sale areas already.
And who would be a good RELIABLE reseller??

rent a store from me and put it in there (city built sim, check the rental properties forum for the post advertising it)
I only ask that ppl do not sell freebies, but reselling other's stuff that is marked as being able to resell is perfectly fine

Hi there, Well, I guess the best answer is what will work best for you. There are good, reputable resale stores out there, (mine is one of them) and it could be less hassle for you to just contact one of us to buy your items. *By the way, a good resale does not sell freebies or free to copy items. The thing is though, I run my SL resale store with the same business model as my RL resale - items are purchased at about 10-15% of what you paid for them. Then they are marked up somewhat for resale, but still less than the orig price (which makes the item a bargain for the new buyer). So, if you have a yardsale you will probably make a few more lindens as you can set the price however you want. But if you want to avoid the hassle of finding a spot or paying rent to set them out somewhere, send me an IM and maybe I can help ya out. Stop by my shop if you have time - you'll see I only sell high quality items, no junk. *If you stop by my store this week, I'm having a clearance so it's a bit cluttered. Running a yard sale will definitely result in a much higher return than selling in bulk to a reseller. If land is an issue, why not band together with some friends who own land and run a yard sale together?

I am running a yard sale right now before I expand onto that lot.
Please IM me in world for a group invite and then you can come set up some stuff there ... be realistic in your prim use/pricing cos I don't want to send stuff back to you, I want you to have some cash!
I may do another one on another lot which is going spare atm (anyone want to buy a pretty green 10024sqm lot? Great estate owner ... low tier).

BTW this is a YARD SALE no resellers please ... just INVENTORY items.
Really not interested in this as an ongoing thing .. just somewhere for my leeetle forum chums to empty their inv a bit.
