I'd try Control P for Preferences, General tab, change the status of the "Use default system color picker" and apply, then change it again, and apply again.
That's just a guess.

From: Sugar Zuhrah good guess, alas, it gives you a windows-style color picker insted of an SL one. it wont reset my SL colors ) My suggestion was to change it and then change it back. Thus you'd end up with the same kind that you had to start with. And maybe it would lose your changes in the process? But apparently not. Insofar as I am not doing anything even slightly fun I will try figuring this out before I go to bed strangely early for a Friday night.... Let's see... where are color picker customizations stored at? ,,,, It appears that they are stored in the settings.xml file if you are using the normal SL viewer, which is in C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Application Data\SecondLife\user_settings on a default installation. Changing one of the colors from default cause this settings.xml file to have an entry and a comment line for the entry added to the file. The lines look similar to this: <!--Color picker palette entry--> <ColorPaletteEntry17 value="0.215686, 0.278431, 0.356863, 1"/> These settings can be changed from within Second Life using the Client Debug Settings and finding the items with names like ColorPaletteEntry1, ColorPaletteEntry2, ColorPaletteEntry2, etc., selecting them, and resetting them default using the "Reset to default" button. Selecting a color palette entry from the list above yields a dialog box like the one below: Click the reset to default button for all the color palette entries you want to restore to default.
