Question about RLV

I recently downloaded the RLV viewer and when using it have the problem of randomly 'whispering' things I don't mean to 'whisper' -- does anyone know why this is?

And yes I'm fairly new to SL so this might be a stupid question to some of you but I really would like to know why this is.

Are you sure you are not just accidentally holding the shift key while hitting return? Doing that will cause you to whisper.

You are probably accidentally hitting Shift + Enter. I do it all the time by mistake. :\

I believe pressing shift-enter when you say something causes it to be whispered.

I've never had the problem til I downloaded RLV - I simply type in something and hit enter - every once in awhile I whisper - it NEVER happened before I downloaded RLV..

I don't think the regular SL viewer comes with the shift enter for whisper option. (Unless they added it, I don't use it.) That may be why.

Don't attribute one thing to the other.

Just because you downloaded RLV and are using it and now have done whispers does not mean for certain it is RLV. I am inclined to think that you are like other people, including myself, who have had bouts of hitting shift as we hit enter to send a message to local chat.
