everyone flash back to last year *makes wavy lines with the hands*
ok it has briefly been posible to fill in an email adress in the estate tools to get a copy of the AR send to you that was filled out in your estate.
The field is still present in the viewers but just greyed out with a message that the region does not support it.
However, all the ARs (luckely only a handfull) in the estate I set an email adress in this field when it was possible still get send to me so the servers still support this at least in the backend.

Anyone know if this was an configuration that got turned off or that the frontend of this feature was removed?

Also is this feature suposed to come back at one point?, if I remember right it was introduced to give estate owners more power to handle their own estate problems.

Is it posible to get an email set manualy by submitting a congierce ticket? I would like to add an email adress to the estates I have not been able to set an email adress for.

Hey you can try. Personally I suspect it might be more of a legal issue as to why LL needs to get the abuse reports for Second Life.

From the jira ...

https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-5457

From: Ramzi Linden
The project to fully implement this feature (where independent email addresses can be utilized for Abuse Reports) has not been completed. It requires some new code to the server back-end of Second Life. At the end of 2007 a few beta testers helped us test a limited roll-out of this feature. However a number of complications resulted, so the feature requires additional work to solve bugs. The status of this project is currently On Hold.

For the few beta testers who had an email address entered there, our Concierge Support is able to remove that email address.
Currently all Abuse Reports are sent to Linden Lab.

In the meantime, the very limited "fix" applied to viewer 1.21 is to (properly) disable this email field until it is actually operational. The field should say "Feature unsupported" for now. When the project to the server is completed (sometime in the future), this field would become enabled again.

Which basicly means that it will probably never get fixed, unless some Linden decides he wants to do that particular task. No reason to prioritize it, and it's not a fun and flashy thing to be working on.
