Ok, so it seems we are now burdened with one of the worst viewers ever with a ton of problems and bugs, rather than fixes.

So here is my problem with it and I dearly hope someone here can help me.

I am running on an older Nvidia Gforce 7950 GT wich was not super but just enough. Of course, I had the graphic error with the black seabed wich supposedly was fixed with this releases (well, actually it is but...)

Now it seems I have a much more serious problem with it, apaprently coming from the aspect ratio (I THINK).

Either I turn off the auto detect ratio feature wich results in a complete grafics mess that makes SL completely unusable (It looks like its about to crash but it doesnt). Or I turn the auto detect on and I get a clean picture with an annoying frog lense effect.

Of course, I want neither, I want my classic 800 x 600 resolution, 16:9 picture but that seems not to be working.

Yes, I have updated my graphic card drivers and they are up to date.

Does anyone have any insight on how to fix this ? (and please, no comments about going back to an older viewer, thank you)

Uh. . .800x600 is not 16:9 resolution it's standard 4:3. The settings you describe WOULD cause issues.

Can you describe your desktop settings and monitor?

No, it was indeed a slight mistake. My bad. Also, for some weird reason, the issue is gone. Sorry for the stirrup and thank you for the help.
