I tried to do the manual age verification, and I sent in my birth certificate, but it turns out they also want (blah blah blah) that shows my name and address. Well, unfortunately, I don't have any of the (blah blah blah) they listed. Is there anything other that a utility bill or a bank statement or whatever that would work? Like, what about something I got in the mail? That shows my name and address.

The only thing I've ever heard from the G-Team is "materials such as listed in the e-mail you received" or some such -- so maybe double check there? At any rate, I so so dun like that system. I've known folks dinged a couple of times (clearing this does not guarantee you will not have to do this again in the future), with somewhat flimsy information (even, in one case, where the accusation was baseless and, essentially, a griefing). Ok, I just got manually age verified, but I still can't walk into age verified only parcels. Does it just take a while to kick in?

No - the whole age verification stuff is screwed up. There are some marked parcels I can get in to and others that I cannot. There are bug tickets on it, but it is currently so messed up that nobody really should be flagging their land yet.

It seems like the only way I can walk into age verified only parcels is if I go there as a result of relogging with last location as my start location.

I don't really trust Linden Lab with copies of my ID card. Plus if the age verification is needed for some parcels, I don't really want to be there anyway.
