I see some really awsome photos on secondlife.com, particularly in windlight blogs. None of them ever identify the locations.
Is there a website somewhere that people post snapshots and identify the locations as suggested places to visit? I love to explore and pictures would really help find cool places.
BTW: I recently revisited Alviso and think it's such a shame how much it has changed from its former natural beauty. I hadn't been there in over a year--loast the Pathfinder's Picks notecard. Some good person finally gave me another copy, but when I got there it was too late. All kinds of new construction happened and it looked like Lawk's Nest tried to reduce prims.
So does anyone know of an SL travel website with pictures?

I don't know if I would call this a travel website but you might want to try Flickr. I know a lot of people post pictures up on Flickr and some people put captions on where the location are or who the person is in the pics. You can also do a search for SL blogs, some people post travel pics and tell you a little bit about their travels.

Natalia has a great blog where she reviews places she has explored and posts pictures. There are also some useful tips and tutorials. http://www.mermaiddiaries.com/Also, the Virtual Parks & Recreation Service locations have kiosks that will give you a notecard with many interesting locations and their descriptions. SLURLS to the kiosks can be found at their website. http://www.virtualparksandrec.com/And if these are not mentioned in either of the above, the Rainforest sim and the "Pot Healer Adventure" on Numbakulla sim (a clue finding game within a beautiful sim) are excellent places to visit.

I use Photobucket, all of my RL photos are there too. If you search carefully you will probably find some RL photos of me in the albums.
