What would happen if...
You subdivided your land separating the 16m section in the middle that another Avie is standing on... Then banned that Avie from the part he's not on... Then ejected him from the part he is on.
Would the Avie shoot straight up?
...and if no one knows for sure, can we experiment?

Sounds like the start of an SL Space Program.

From: Sling Trebuchet Who's this "we" paleface? Oh, I'll so volunteer for position of projectile. (and ironicly, I'm *not* a paleface)

Incase the ejected avatar comes straight back down, can we place a freebie trampoline in the 16m parcel?
Sounds like a new SL sporting event.

I once had a rather annoying AV on one of my rental parcels. I first banned him from all of the surrounding parcels and then banned him from the one he was on. The result was his AV turned into a rather hyper-active ping pong ball bouncing from ban line to ban line and unable to escape.
Was rather comical to watch until he finally crashed.
Then logged in again to last location and the show resumed...

I tried it. Avatar standing on a 16m plot, surrounded by a 1024 from which she was banned. Ugly red cage. Hey! Cam and sit out of that sister!! Aside: Has anyone noticed that Disable Camera Constraints has no effect since the last rolling updates?? I'm still on the old client, if that's anything to do with it. Eject: Got a message "Avatar has been banned from this parcel". BUT she didn't budge. Perhaps Eject just applies a push calculated to get them off the parcel. Push - "Resolved" Eject and Ban: She shot up to around the 50metres and got dumped outside the banned parcel. Ban means business. This was on mainland. Maybe on a private island, with a ban on the remainder of the island, this would be much more fun.

I once estate-banned someone from an island while they were still on it, then ejected them from the parcel they were on. They ended up wedged in the corner at 256,0 about 50 or 100 meters up -- as if the system was trying to eject them off the sim but there was nowhere to go. -Atashi

Tried using the debug menu ? I know with the newer client the shortcut itself doesnt work anymore, but it does save your setting now so you only need to fiddle with the debug menu once

Just SL borkiness. Saving that setting is NOT enough reason to risk exposure to the latest client
