I read someone's blog (i think) somewhere (and cannot for the Slife of me remember where, so if anyone else does please help out here) who had rigged his keyboard to keep flying upwards for hours. He ended up pretty much like pie in the sky ....... the higher he got the weirder he looked.

From: Chaos Bikcin Allways wondered whats up at like 999,999,99 high? what happens if u keep going up, it can't go on 4ever I tried flying up and up and up once and the x co-ord kept increasing. Everytime it increased a digit I thought maybe I would reach the end of the parameter size range - there must be a size limit, surely? I got bored and gave up in the end. As soon as I stoped pressing the pg up key, the x co-ord numbers came down at a high rate of knots! My guess is that if you kept going long enough you would eventually reach an x co-ord parameter limit and stick there until you let go of the pg up key.

Chaos
Rez a cube and sit on it, from edit mode input the highest number you can in the X axis and it will or should take you there I think.
I always do that to look at whats in the sky around me but not tried going that high.
Edited: Sorry X axis will send you across the world, try the Z axis
Edited out of interest: If you use the X or Y axis would anyone see you flying past going like the speed of light with a trail of smoke behind you, and do you automatically go through all those ban lines. Just a thought but not tried it yet and when exactly do you go off world..?

You can't rez objects in the usual way above 768 (or thereabouts). Some skydiving platforms will take you higher. I flew to 30,000 m with the Terra Speed Spork: AFAI could see I could have kept going, but it really was rather boring. It was great for skydiving though

You will find the place where all the Missing Inventory Items have gone, however you will never be allowed to return with the secret.
