"Imbue all objects with Havokā„¢-powered physics so they respond to gravity, inertia, propulsion, and wind from the in-world weather system. Objects cast shadows and are illuminated by the sun."

This is what it sais in the SL description on this website, i've never seen any objects casting shadows. am i missing something (or a setting somewhere)?

No, I didn't see any shadows either.

Yah, SL marketing is slightly less correlated with actual product than most.

I think this might have been referring to the addition of Windlight* which, like most LL pre-annoucements are extremely late or take more than 4 years to complete. This one appears stillborn at the moment: there are no shadows.

Wind doesn't affect object physics either. Some people said before, though, that they added shadows at one time and yanked it back out for some reason. Objects' shadows can be turned on and off with an LSL call, even, but it doesn't have any effect.
