my tier is due in a couple of days. i sold my L$ and its not showing in my paypal... did i do it wrong? I need to get the csh to mypaypal account so i can pay my tier.

It's two steps. You sell your L$ and a USD balance appears on your account. Then, if you go to your account page, you should see a link on the right side under 'Linden Dollar' which says 'Process Credit.' You need to click that and follow the instructions to send the money to PayPal. At this point, though, it may not make it before your tier is due. LL claims 0-5 business days (ie, Monday - Friday, less holidays), but it often takes longer.
I assume this isn't Mainland tier...if it is, LL will just take it from your USD balance without going to PayPal.

Is there any need to transfer US$ to PayPal to cover tier? I thought if you had a US$ balance in your (SL) account, LL would deduct tier from that. I'm sure I've paid tier & premium fees that way.

They will, but some estate parcels are set up to pay tier with PayPal.

Assuming this is private sim tier, I would suggest contacting the landlord at this point and explain the situation. They may possibly accept an L$ payment at this point and waive the Paypal debit this month.
