Alt Accounts

I would like some info about how alt accounts work. What I mean is, if one created and logged in world using a free account which used the same email as his premiun account, would he have full permissions over his originl premium account ?

If anyone has any answers I'd love to hear them.

No. They are totally seperate entities.

To the best of my knowledge, any ALT acount you create is separate from any other account you might have, even if it uses the same email address.

It is a completely seperate person, as far as LL is concerned. No more rights than anyone else has. So no, the alt can't do anything to or with your Premium account's stuff that you couldn't assign to anyone else.

You can assign the alt to have mod rights by making friends with your own alt, and assigning mod rights in the Friends tab.

You can have the alt be a member of your land group and can give the alt *almost* all the same role permissions as the main account has, with regard to group owned land and objects. (The alt still can't upload .raw files to a non-mainland sim owned by the Premium account, and only one person can be the 'founder' of a group.)

The alt can not directly access the other account's L$ balance, but you can give L$ to each other as a 'gift', the same as with any other account.

Yes, but beware - don't assume you can go shopping with one alt, and give your stuff to the other; unless the things you buy have transfer rights, you'll be stuck with it

I know this is a stupid question. How do you create an alt account. I cant find any information on how to create an alt accoun. I created an new accound and used the some contact information. Is this all I do. I wish there was some kinda FAQ about creating an alt acccount. Thanks
