Hi All just wondering if people are still getting: Unable to create requested object. Object is missing from database.

i have been unhappy about not getting things rezzed (66 items)
and went to http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Inventory_Page to go step by step on how to retrieve them (used to work) and i have tried everything that it said to do but now it doesnt seem to work i use windlight (does that have an effect on why it doesnt work?)

if anyone knows a new way (not the old way that used to work) please let me know

You may want to go to another region (preferably an empty one) and try again. Maybe it's a local problem connected to the simulator where you tried it.

Also, try clearing the cache. There is a good reason why the support teams always recommend that as the first thing to do.

This happens to me when I have packed things away in boxes. So don't pack something away in a box that you really care about! I even lost my whole first year and a half of photos that way.

I had an item that kept giving me that msg for a couple months now
finally just deleted it
(tried cache clear many time, to no avail (and other regions)

I have been having this bug since last April, 1000's of items, some created by me, some copy, some no-copy. Nothing works, nothing ever came back, several complaints to LL, bug tickets, still no results... lousiest asset server in the world, worst service on top of that.
