Second Life has got to be the most frustrating and poorly run on-line game right now. And this says alot considering you have SOE's stable of games out there. Every single day like clockwork you can expect to find something that's not running right. Something major that has to do with the every day running of sl. Plus, complaints always seem to fall on deaf ears.
Today it's login stallings. But not only this, once inside you'll see you can't rez items and you also can't pick up items to put in your inventory.
I crashed (nothing new here) but right before I crashed I tried to pick up an item which I couldn't as stated above. But after I crashed I came back and finally the item I tried to pick up was gone but when I checked my prims, I wasn't given credit for those prims either.
If you're trying to work, forget it you can't. I finally gave up and left.

The first is making shoes at night while, you know, while the old cobbler sleeps. You can bake cookies in a tree. But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

From: Maggie McArdle yet we return like lemmings to a cliff.......... Well, to be fair, the lemmings never really return to the cliff. Pretty much one trip to the cliff and that's about it for them.
